Julius Peter Okello joins our team

It has always been an aim of EMR4DW that we should make our involvement in Health Clinics as sustainable as possible. We have a number of clinics in the Mbale area of Eastern Uganda. These include the first ever, and busiest, clinic in Bushika and the remote mountainous clinic at Matuwa ( see other blogs). It was here that we first met Julius, as data manager, who showed great interest in EMR4DW and expressed an interest in helping other clinics with their data collection. Julius, seen here with Dr Bill Tams, has become our first Ambassador and will help and advise other clinics in the area. Recently he coordinated with our IT team, in the UK, to Update EMR4DW laptops from 3 clinics. Previously this would have had to wait until one of our team, from the UK, visited Uganda. We feel this is a major advance and wish to welcome Julius to our team and hope he will be a great help to clinics in Uganda.
